This machine represents our continual investment in Next Generation technology; equipped with the CAT® Ease Of Use (EOU) and E-Fence system with 2D Trimble included (see below) at a touch of your fingertips.
With greater technological demands on site, we hope this machine will enable learners to complete their 360 excavator courses whilst embracing the latest in technological advancements, with the aim of improving operating efficiency, precision and safety on site.
This machine weights over 10t gross and is the perfect size for completing the CPCS and NPORS A59A 360 ecxcavator test. It further benefits from the CAT stick steer feature, specific for the Next Generation excavators that allows operators to use joysticks to control the boom and blade.
E-Fence explained
EOU E-Fence automatically constrains machine motion within operator pre-set boundaries for Ceiling, Floor, Wall and Swing to avoid structures overhead, underground, in front or to the left or right of the machine. Ideal for new operators to work within set boundary parameters. Once set, no part of the boom, stick or bucket will pass the defined boundary limit(s).
Ease of Use (EOU) Indicate explained
EOU Indicate provides visual and audible indicators to where the bucket is versus a target grade to cut and fill to exact specifications the first time without overcutting. The operator selects target depth and slope from the in-cab guidance system, and the monitor provides real-time work-in-progress and distance to grade feedback.
