CPCS plant training and assessment

At ACOP Training we deliver CPCS plant training, testing and NVQ assessment on all categories of plant machinery and lifting operations.

We combine classroom teaching with practical hands-on training to help you understand the basic skills in plant operation.

You can learn and pass tests in the following plant machinery and lifting operations.

Excavators

We cover both 360 and 180 excavators, across wheeled and tracked varieties – as well as crawler/tractor dozers.

 

Forklift

This includes sideloader and counterbalance forklifts.

You can also operate telescopic handlers, including fixed boom and 360 slew.

 

Compacting plant

This category includes landfill compacters, soil compacters and ride-on rollers.

 

Dumpers and dump trucks

Our dumper and dump truck training covers forward tipping (wheeled and tracked varieties) and rear tipping (rigid and articulated).

 

Cranes and specialist lifting operations

These includes courses for slinger/signaller, crane supervisor and AP (appointed person). The cranes include crawler, mobile, lorry loader and hoists.

 

Loaders

The loader training and assessment we offer includes wheeled tracked loading shovels and skid steers.

 

Access platforms

These cover boom and scissor-type elevated work platforms.

 

Processing plant

We can train you in preparing and operating crushers and screeners to process materials in the workplace.

 

Other

We also deliver the CITB Health, Safety & Environment and Triple Bar Nuclear tests.
