Site development & training

We like to mix things up a bit here and get some trainees involved in a bit of site development. Here’s one of our instructors giving a demonstration on an 8t Doosan excavator.

    Dave,

    Thanks for the enquiry.

    Regarding excavator courses you have a few options, depending on your level of experience;

    Option 1 – Experienced operator (two day course)
    This involves a days training in the classroom to run through the theory and the criteria for the practical assessment. Test on the 2nd day.

    Option 2- Refresher Course (4 day course)
    This involves 1 day classroom as above, followed by two days practical training/familiarisation on a 13t excavator. Test on the 4th day.

    Option 3- Complete course (10 day course)
    This involves a complete course on the machine, starting from scratch.

    All of these options will involve a CPCS test on a 13t excavator, which will cover you for both above (A59A) and below (A58A) 10t categories for tracked excavators.

    I have sent you an email with some more info.

    Thanks agan,

    Hi, I live in the rhondda aria and looking to work as 360 excavator operator and would need full training in all aspects of the work, I have no idea what the work entails, also have no training in the construction industry or site working so would need to start at the very bottom level, could you please forward me any information I may need and full prices of any training along with what license or cards I would need. thanks.

  13. Siôn Jones

    Hi Glenn, thanks for the enquiry. My next full 360 course starts on the 24th March, it’s 10 days in duration and leads towards a red cpcs card for 360 tracked excavators and lifting ops. This will give you a good grounding to start a career in construction. Please let me know if you are interested in reserving a place. I have sent you an email with some more information.
