   Dylan,

   I have sent you an email with info on my next CPCS dumptruck (A56B) and excavator (A59A) courses next month.

   Excavator courses will be carried out on a 13tonne JCB over 10 days – this covers you on all sizes of tracked excavator. The dumptruck courses will be on a 25tonne CAT over 4 days – this covers you on all sizes of wheeled rear tipping articulated dumptruck.

   is that different to train someone to operate long reach excavator ?

   Long reach training could be carried out on site provided you have access to a machine? There is no specific CPCS ‘long reach’ endorsement. However, you would need to hold the 360 excavator (above 10t) CPCS A59A ticket.
