The aim of these qualifications are to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 2 NVQ Certificate/ Diploma in Plant Operations provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in operating plant machinery to demonstrate their competence.
The units in this qualification are derived from National Occupational Standards.
Both mandatory unit must be completed, along with one specialist item of plant to gain an NVQ certificate/ diploma in a chosen discipline.
