DESCRIPTION:A four day CPCS agricultural tractor (A33).  Maximum of 2 learners. \nThis is a course designed for novice operators. \nThe aim of this course is to provide candidates with practical and theoretical knowledge to help undertake the role of a tractor operator. This qualification covers agricultural tractors. \nThrough a combination of targeted training and experience\, an individual with the tractor will be able to accomplish the following: \nAgricultural tractor training course content\nOutcomes\nThrough a combination of targeted training and experience\, an individual with the tractor will be able to: \n\nRoles and responsibilities\n\nDescribe the nature of the sector of industry and their role and responsibilities as a plant operator\n\nPreparing for work\n\nName and explain the purpose of principal components\, the basic construction\, controls and terminology\nConform with manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s handbook\, other types of information source and relevant regulations and legislation\nUndertake all pre-use checks\n\nTravelling and manoeuvring\n\nConfigure and ready for travel (site and highway)\nTravel over rough\, undulating ground\, substantial inclines and level surfaces with mounted and trailed implements\nManoeuvre in confined spaces whilst carrying loads with mounted and trailed implements\n\nSetting up for work\n\nAttach and set trailed implements ready for work.\nAttach and set mounted implements ready for work.\nAttach and set power take-off drives ready for work.\nExplain actions required for hazards\, underground and overhead services\n\nWorking tasks\n\nOperate a mounted or power driven implement\n\nCompleting work\n\nRemove and store trailed and mounted implements\n\nShutting down\n\nCarry out shut down and securing procedures\nExplain the loading and unloading procedures for machine transporting\n\n\nFor your reference you can download the relevant questions for the theory test. \nACOP Group is accredited by both CPCS and NPORS.
