DESCRIPTION:A 5 day CPCS crawler crane training course (A02). Delivered one to one with instructor. \nThis course is designed for semi/ experienced operators \nThe aim of this course is to provide candidates with practical and theoretical knowledge to help undertake the role of a crawler crane operator. This qualification covers mobile cranes. \nThrough a combination of targeted training and experience\, an individual with the crawler crane will be able to accomplish the following: \nCrawler crane training course content\n\nRoles and responsibilities\n\nDescribe the nature of the sector of industry and their role and responsibilities as a plant operator\n\nPreparing for work with the mobile crane\n\nName and explain the purpose of principal components\, the basic construction\, controls and terminology\nConform with manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s handbook\, other types of information source and relevant regulations and legislation\nExplain all relevant documentation\nUndertake all pre-use checks\n\nTravelling and manoeuvring your mobile crane\n\nConfigure and set for travel\nTravel the crane to an area of work\nManoeuvre in confined spaces\n\nSetting up for work\n\nConfigure the crane for lifting duties\nExplain rigid and re-rigging procedures when fitting a lattice-type extension\nExplain action required for hazards\, underground and overhead services\n\nWorking tasks on the mobile crane\n\nProgramme / set-up Rated Capacity Indicators for lifting duties\nLift various loads using the full radius and slewing capabilities of a crane\nAccurately place loads\nChange falls of rope on a hook block\nMinimise the swinging of loads\nMove loads through machine travel (where applicable)\nMaintain safe working situations\nComply with signals and instructions\nExplain rigging and de-rigging procedures when fitting fly jibs or boom extensions\n\nCompleting work\n\nDismantle the crane in preparation of movement\n\nShutting down\n\nCarry out shut down and securing procedures\nExplain loading and loading procedures for machine transportation\n\n\nFor your reference you can download the relevant questions for the theory test. \nACOP Group is accredited by both CPCS and NPORS.

DESCRIPTION:We are running a 4 day rear tipping articulated dumptruck (ADT) course for novice operators. \nThis course leads to a CPCS qualification for the rear tipping articulated dump trucks (all sizes) A56B. \nSpaces limited to a maximum of 2 delegates per course. \nThe aim of this course is to provide candidates with practical and theoretical knowledge to help undertake the role of an ADT operator.
