DESCRIPTION:A three day CPCS forward tipping dumper course (A09A).  Maximum of 3 learners. \nThis is a course designed for novice operators. \nDiscount available if course is in combination with a ride on roller over 5 days. \nThe aim of this course is to provide candidates with practical and theoretical knowledge to help undertake the role of a roller operator. This qualification covers forward tipping dumpers. \nThrough a combination of targeted training and experience\, an individual with the forward tipping dumpers will be able to accomplish the following. \nForward tipping dumper training course content\nOutcomes\nThrough a combination of targeted training and experience\, an individual with the forward tipping dumper will be able to: \n\nRoles and responsibilities\n\nDescribe the nature of the sector of industry and their role and responsibilities as a plant operator\n\nPreparing for work\n\nName and explain the purpose of principal components\, the basic construction\, controls and terminology\nConform with manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s handbook\, other types of information source and relevant regulations and legislation\nUndertake all pre-use checks\n\nTravelling and manoeuvring\n\nConfigure and ready for travel (site and highway)\nTravel over rough\, undulating ground\, steep inclines and level surfaces – loaded and unloaded\nManoeuvre in confined spaces whilst carrying loads\n\nSetting up for work\n\nEnsure the suitability of the tipping and loading area\nExplain actions required for hazards\, underground and overhead services\nPosition to receive loads\n\nWorking tasks\n\nComply with loading procedures\nEnsure load integrity and security\nTransfer loads to different locations\nDischarge loads into trenches and over edges\n\nCompleting work\n\nMaintain safe and tidy working areas\n\nShutting down\n\nCarry out shut down and securing procedures\nExplain the loading and unloading procedures for machine transporting\n\n\nFor your reference you can download the relevant questions for the theory test. \nACOP Group is accredited by both CPCS and NPORS.
